Keep Britain Tidy

Love where you Live logoKeep Britain Tidy is a national independent environmental charity, which campaigns for people’s right to live and work in a place of which they can be proud.

They believe a single truth underpins their success – caring for the environment is the first step to a better society.  They believe we should ‘Love Where We Live’ and have named their campaign with this catchy slogan.

Their work includes campaigning for schemes to tackle litter, education programmes, working with authorities and they award the Green Flag status for parks and Blue Flag for beaches, in the UK.

KBT launched their latest report in the House of Commons on 5 Dec 2013.  It highlights the current situation nationally on ltter called ‘Litter – making a real idfference’.  It offers solutions which involve government leadership, a role for businesses and local councils and the community.
